I did this recently too, but when I took the rolls to the bank, the teller looked at me like I had three heads and had me empty all of the rolls into their coin-counting machine.![]()
Years ago the credit union I was with had me write my account number on my rolls, but they still accepted them (I guess to track it back to me if my rolls were incorrect). Then, one day I went in and they had a new coin counting machine and told me to use it. Well, there were no instructions and I put all of my money where I thought it was supposed to go and nothing happened. Well, I put it in the wrong spot and had to move it all of it handfuls at a time. Ugh! Luckily I use a different bank now, and they accept rolled coins, although you can't do it at the regular teller counter. I guess only a few of us still roll our coins old school style

Major score! Awesome!
