I just had my second day at a brand new big girl job. I love what I do, the people are great and I feel blessed to have such an amazing opportunity in a job market in MI.

Anyway, during an orientation, they were telling us about all the discounts we can get. And guess what, there's an amazing Disney deal.

Check with your employer to see what places they offer discounts to.

Just wanted to share this happy find! :rotfl2: :cloud9:

Don't you love those deals!? I can get discounted tickets for all kinds of places through my school employees' union office. Disneyland 3-day passes are about $18 less than the regular price which really adds up for our family of four. I also found out my son's middle school band is performing at a local theme park this spring. I looked into getting tickets for the rest of the family to go the same day and found out I can get them for 1/2 of the gate price!

Yay! I love finding surprise discounts and coupons.our ,
are buy 4 get 3 on park tickets.:cheer2:

We have "Working Advantage" and "Plum Benefits" at my job.
WA covers a very wide variety of types of discounts whereas PB is geared more towards shows and restaurants. (We're just a train ride into NYC so that works for us!)

I checked into WDW tickets and our WA prices are very comparable to UT, although WA only offers 4, 5, 6 and 10 day tickets.

That is so cool they offer that, every little bit helps.

no discounts for us. DH's company used to supply aluminum to GM to make engine blocks, so we got GM supplier discounts on vehicles, which we never used, but they don't supply GM anymore. main client is honda, which offers no supplier discount, that i'm aware of.

My brother works for Siemens (they sponsor Spaceship Earth). Not only does he get awesome discounted tickets, he also have employee access to their lounge in Epcot. Very nice perk!

We can get discounted tickets too though or corporate office. Its about what I get through the mouse savers link for undercover tourist.

I also get a discount on my cell bill through verizon. Its like 15% off my phone charges and 20% off my data package.

Thousands off GM (supplier's discount). I wouldn't give 2 cents for a GM vehicle.

$1000 off Ford. Unfortunately we did give 2 cents for a Ford. Worst mistake we've made in the past 5 years.

Thousands off Nissan (thousands more than the thousands off GM). Unfortunately I can't afford a Nissan. The bottomofthebarrel Sentra and Versa are garbage and the first in line of quality is the Altima and I can't afford.

8% off Verizon. If I wanted a cell phone, I'd get Verizon. Even their regular price is a huge percentage off AT&T's prices, the only other available.

HUGE discount on Dell. I worked it out many times using the regular website and the VIP program. The discount is always $30 MORE! :confused3

I can get Microsoft Office for free. Problem is, I couldn't go between work and home because we are still in Office 2003 at work. It is a major headache any time I receive something from the one guy who uses Office 2010.

So, I have a lot of discounts available, just can't use any of them. The one time I did cost me a lot more than the discounts in abnormally premature wear maintenance (Ford Escape.)

My hubby works for Siemens! Last trip we got unlimited fast passes as a perk to Test Track too! Great benefits for the disney lover!

That's great!

I am out of work and dh's employer has taken away a lot of their discounts (plus all raises and a lot of other things, but anyway...), so nothing like that here, but I'm glad you get it!

i sent the HR director at DH's job a message on facebook and she said they do still get a GM supplier discount, but that was the only discount she knows of. :(
