I just heard about this woman who started her own business. She make $93,000.00 per year. Before I tell you what she does I want to explain the peticulars. She has 120 clients and she visits each client's home twice per week. She charges each client $15.00 per week. Do the math and you will see that she earns $93,600!! Do you know what service she provides? She cleans up the dog poop in her clients yards!!! Very little overhead cost, a shovel and a few plastic bags!$!$ I realize it's kinda a crappy job (pun intended) but quite a nice salary I'd say. I know I would be willing to hire someone to do that nasty job for me. What are your thoughts?

I've heard of others doing that. It sounds like she is working very hard though. With 120 clients that she visits twice per week, that is 240 visits. If you figure in travel between clients, etc. and client vacations, materials (baggies and possibly disposal costs), etc. and that when she doesn't work, she doesn't get paid. No retirement, no benefits, etc. That really cuts into the profit.

I'd like more info on that. How did she advertise? She must use help. Acording to my calc. thats one home every 12 mins. for 8 hrs. a day for 6 days a week. Thats really moving, especially if it's a big yard. And gas for traveling from house to house can add up.
Plus how does she handle the dogs that are really protective, etc, etc, etc.
I realize, of course, that one could have fewer customers. 1/4 of that would only bring in aroud 40 some odd thousand. "Oh, my! How would I ever pay the bills?"
If you can get any more details, I might not mind trying that in my town.

I work at a large 24 hour vet clinic . We have people who come by all the time with flyers for this. I know people do it for a living and do very well .
