check out time at GCH

I am renting a car from downtown disney and want to get it before we check out so we can bring it back over and load up the car.....

can we park it at the hotel after we have checked out?

or would it be better to store luggage with bell services and pick up the car when we are ready to leave then just drive over load up and leave?

On our trip this summer, we stored our luggage with bell services in the morning. After picking up the car from the Alamo DTD across the street, I just drove over parked in front entrance while we loaded up. It was a breeze.

thanks - this sounds sooo much easier than picking it up early and trying to negotiate a parking spot for the afternoon....

Just FYI, you can also park all day in the hotel-self-parking on all the days of your stay, from the day you check in until midnight of the day you check out. But I'd vote for leaving the bags with the bell desk anyhow; self-parking is in the sun and I figure its easier for someone to break into a rental car to take the suitcases than it is to steal from the bell desk.
We usually drive down, put the car in the parking lot around 8 or 9 in the morning, check in at 4p, check out at 10a, and leave the car there as well, thereby putting in a full day in the park at both ends of our Grand Californian stay, leaving the middle days to spend more pool/resort time.
