We went to DH's company outing yesterday at an amusement park. There they had a ride I have never seen before, and it was the cutest thing. I couldnt get Colt on TOT on our recent WDW trip, but I guess this is a start....

Isnt that adorable? And dont mind the smudge on the pictures. We just realized we had something on the camera. ;)

It's usually called a Frogger. My kids LOVE it! We have videos of them at Hershey Park and somewhere in Myrtle Beach just laughing and laughing!

Its a lot easier than TOT. This park has a Star Blaster which is like a outside version of TOT(with dangling feet), or a really big version of this.
The kiddie one was called the Jungle Bounce and it did more bouncing, than actual dropping, but there were a couple small drops in there.

Yes, we've seen those! Aren't they cute??? It was either at Cedar Point or at Michigan Adventure. Since the same company now owns both, it's probably at both now. I remember DD was so disappointed that she was too tall to be allowed to ride. :)

they have one of those at Geauga Lake. It's always crowded and there's always a line. The one at Geauga Lake will drop you two times.

Cute! :) Which park was it at - Canobie? DD tried one like that at Funtown Splashtown in Maine last summer and was so scared they had to stop the ride to let her off! She was just 4 but I was surprised since things don't usually scare her.

I guess these are more common than I thought. ;)
Yes Jesw, it was Canobie.

Cute ride and great photos, even with the smudge :)

I have to ask you, how was Canobie? We haven't been in years and Katie is always asking if we can go. Is it still as clean and family oriented as it was 7 yrs. ago?

It was fun. Not WDW, but not a bad park. ;) They have a lot of the same rides they had when I used to go as a kid, but they were still fun and it was nice to get my kids on some of them.

We did encounter some "line cutters", actually whole families with small kids who were doing it, but overall it wasnt bad. Its seemed pretty clean too, for a non-WDW park.

My biggest complaint was the ride wait time. The lines were too long, but we waited probably at least 20 minutes at each ride because they were very very slow loading. One example was those roosters that fly around and you turn them in and out. The girl waited until everyone was out and then she had to walk around the whole thing. If she walked any slower she would have been going backwards...OMG! Then she let people in and they got in their rooster. THEN she had to walk around again and check every ones seatbelt. And she was so slow again. Now Im all for safety and for them checking, but she couldnt have walked any slower. And this was the norm on most rides. After just getting back from WDW where they get people in and out of rides quickly, this slow loading process was very noticable...and painful! ;)
