I'm not sure if this is from the same guy who was selling fastpasses last week or not, but look at what someone is paying for these.

9 Fastpasses, all for Space Mountain.

Why would anyone pay this much money for these?

These may be legit, but I don't think I would take the chance. I'll get my own free Fast Passes, thank you.

maybe they want to use them for scrapbooking or making their halloween costume...there are tons of things on Ebay that I wouldn't pay money for but it won't stop someone else.

2 or 3 years ago there were a bunch of folks who came to MNSSHP dressed as FastPasses. They were great costumes!

If you look at the passes they say "Rider Switch Pass". What is a rider switch pass?

Do you think these are the "parent/child swap" passes? I've heard that the fastpass enabled rides are issuing a pass that has the other parent come back via the fastpass entrance - rather than having them stand in a holding area.

If the bidders don't want to do the research and find out what something is worth, it's their own fault if they get hosed.

what if they don't want them to say not valid? Who knows, who cares? People sell DCL menus, Palo plates, free luggage tags, free Mickey soaps on Ebay....

I think some people think they have to pay for fast passes. That is why some people never use them.

And if people want to sell them, that's their business. People sell park maps, etc. on ebay, and if people want to buy them that's their business too.

The passes are definitely kid switch passes which any person with a child can get for free by asking a CM for one....

There's a guy I buy live bootlegg concerts from online who charges $25 per DVD. He says as a disclaimer, "you're only paying for shipping and handling". It's a way of saying they're not selling something they shouldn't be.

Thats because you can't sell the fast passes. Alot of times for Cub tickets or concerts you are actually bidding on a pencil and they willl "throw in" the tickets for free. Ways around the ticket brokering laws.

I think some of the terse responses may come as a result of this issue having been covered in three different threads on the Budget Board, that all ended up being locked because of the tension they created.
