please make any comment you wish..here are a few details....myself, my wife , my son 13, and daughter 11..we plan on NOT paying the extra for park hoppers (advise??) and we are driving so we will have our own wheels....

we plan to arrive July 10 approx 3:00pm to our room at POP, then the rest of the day touring resort and then to Downtown Disney for dinner and evening.
July 11, we plan to go to Epcot...seeing that Epcot has early entry, we plan to be at the gate at 8:00, breaking during the day to go back for a swim and late lunch/early dinner, then returning to the park for the rest of the evening.

next morning July 12, our plan if Magic Kingdom, knowing that MK had late opening the night before, we will be there at rope drop, and hopefully get a head start before the big crowds arrive. again today we plan on the afternoon break for swim and dinner, before going back and closing MK.

July 13 we plan disney/mgm studios....however we go have ressies for chef mickeys for 10:30....planning on a ealry start, the breaking for a late breakfast/early lunch, then back to the park for the remainder of the day.
what do you think? any comment would be great.

If you follow it I don't see a need for PH option.I see you didn't include AK in your plans. Are you going to skip it this trip?Plus leaving MGM to go for Chef Mickeys,if you eat large meal then go back to MGM right away on a hot July day you may feel like touring much. You and family have a magical vacation. :goodvibes :wizard: :earsboy:

Why not put Chef Mickey's later in your day? You'll only get a little touring at MGM done before you have to hop a bus to the Contemporary for a 10:30 seating. We always find that the MGM attractions take a little longer than the regular rides. If you put Chef Mickey's later in your day, it will break up that hot period (where you have rest and swim planned in your earlier days). If you want to digest after a large meal, ride the full circuit of the monorail!!

Have a magical vacation!!

yes we are skipping AK this time...how late can i get ressies for @ chef mickey?

Wouldn't it make better sense to do Chef Mickey's on your MK day? That way you don't have to waste so much time traveling from MGM and back. Just a thought...

This would be my order...

Monday
MGM....since you don't plan on hoppers, you won't want to be stuck in Epcot's EMH crowds all day!

Tuesday
Magic Kingdom...only day left

Wednesday
Epcot....the monorail is easier for traveling to Chef Mickey's and you'll want to avoid EMH at MK without hoppers.

Just my 2 cents..........

that does make alot of sense...Maybe I can look into changing Chef Mickey's to MK day.
thanks

any other advise?
