This is just the beginning stage of my Disney Village display. I figure it will be years before it is completed.

I am trying to keep everything in scale with the buildings and make it as realistic as possible just like Main Street in WDW.

Eventually I plan on making a real cobblestone road and sidewalks that are flush with the buildings.

I will later add trees and landscaping and topiaries.

Looking for die cast vehilcles ie Trolly, Fire Truck, Resort Bus, ect. (In Scale)

Also looking for characters like Cinderella for the Castle, Dalmations for the Firehouse, Christmas Disneys figures.

Suggestions are welcome and would be appreciated.

Looking good!

How about some fake snow and some big sheets of white felt, it would help cover up all the wires. That's what I do with my light Villages, it looks really pretty!

Have a "Merry Christmas"!

It really is looking great. It's a good suggestion about the wires, but since it looks like you are setting it up on a piece of plywood specifically for the village, why not drill holes underneath the pieces and run all the wiring under the board....But I guess since you are just starting you can wait for that.

Either way, keep posting as it develops!!!

Isn't Casey's in the wrong spot? It should be on the left-hand corner by the castle. I have that building too and love it! :)

Thank you.

I will be consealing the wires as you suggested but I want to make sure all the bulidings, lamp posts are in the perfect position before I start drilling into the plywood. It will be nice having all the electric cords underneath the display and out of sight.

Yes, Casey's Corner is one the wrong side. Of all the buildings in this series only two are corner style, the Emporium and Caseys Corner. I have all the buildings except City Hall and if I were to place the buildings in their correct location on the left side the right side of Main Street would only have the Cinema. I thought it would be better to put Caseys Corner on the right side for now and maybe they will offer other buildings in this series hopefully in the near future.

The Confectionary would be nice!

looking really good, can't wait to see the rest! post pictures as you go.
bp:)

Nicely done. I love this kind of thing and will look forward to watching it progress. Then you can come to my house and build another one just like it:earboy2:
