DH and I are going on a romantic Christmas :santa:trip - DXDDP - 5 nights at POFQ - any insights or suggestions would be appreciated.
3 credits per night x 5 nights = 15 per person
2 snack credits per night x 5 nights = 10 per person
So Total
We have 30 credits and 20 snacks - - Right??

Arrival Day - not sure on arrival time, Need suggestions for Lunch
8:50 - Dinner - Yatchmens (2TS)

1st Day - 1:00 - lunch- Grand Floridian Cafe - (1TS)
8:25 - Dinner - Tutto Itilia (1TS)

2nd Day - 8:05 - Breakfast - Donalds Tuskerhouse (1TS)
8:40 - Dinner - Narcoossee - (2TS)

3rd Day - breakfast or lunch suggestion
6:45 - Dinner - Liberty Tree (1TS) - This night is for Wishes -

4th Day - 9:05 - Breakfast - Kona (1TS)
8:30 - Dinner Flying Fish - (2TS)

Check out - 8:00 - Breakfast - Boma (1TS) then to DTD for last min shopping and then we head home

Right now I think I'm at 24 TS credits so 6 more to go :confused3

i would recommend some of the 2 TS dinner shows (i.e. HDDR or SOA)... i also had a fabulous dinner at CRT w/a friend at a great table for two alongside a window... i did not miss the kids at all!

Are you going to a park on your arrival day? If so, which one and maybe we can suggest lunch from there . . . .

In general:
Epcot - we really liked La Hacienda for dinner - but don't count on it for illuminations; would try the new San Angel menu now b/c we didn't like it before; try Le Cellier (maybe for lunch) if you can get it; we really like Via Napoli.
MK - have heard LTT is better for lunch than dinner, but can't confirm personally; CP is good.
DHS - I see you haven't bothered, so that's good. On our DHS days, we eat at Epcot - or in upcoming trips are trying FF Cafe and Cape May (seafood buffet for dinner seems to get good reviews).
AK - you've got Tusker; the only other I'd suggest is Y&Y.

Then - I'm not poo-pooing Narcoossee's b/c we're doing it ourselves in Sept., but I'd still try Cali Grill over it any day . . . romance, fireworks? :)

If we can get in buy 11 or 12 will head for Epcot - If it's more like 2 or 3 maybe just head for DTD.

MK - have heard LTT is better for lunch than dinner, but can't confirm personally; CP is good. DH wants to try it and we have never had Dinner there, so will see I'm a bit nervous about this choice.
DHS - I see you haven't bothered, so that's good. On our DHS days, we eat at Epcot - or in upcoming trips are trying FF Cafe and Cape May (seafood buffet for dinner seems to get good reviews). Could I which out LTT for cape may and still make Wishes that night? Wishes is at 8:00?

I tired nothing available any day we are there:sad1:

Coming from Brandon yes - you better get in early!! :) (I'm originally from Naples.)

If you make it to Epcot, then maybe try for Le Cellier lunch - even look at the last minute, when people cancel - day of, day before, etc. (Same advice for Cali Grill frankly - if it's something you'd really like to try. It has a 48 cancellation policy, so check that last week.) Otherwise, I'd shoot for new San Angel just to try it or Via Napoli for lunch on arrival day.

To be perfectly honest, I can't remember whether we had lunch or dinner @ Via Napoli! I think it was an off time, so it might have been early dinner or late lunch. But the menu's the same I'm pretty sure. We liked our fried veggie app, both pizzas were good, and DH liked the ricotta fritters for dessert. Going back in Sept. on DxDP!

I think the pot roast is universally liked at LTT - and the turkey gets decent reviews too. I used to love this place, but I think the food has changed for the worst - but it's not awful either!

Cape May over LTT - not if you kept the 6:45 time . . . let's see, you'd take the Beach Club's bus service right to MK. Wishes at 8, so you'd want to arrive absolutely no later than 7:40 (bag check, etc.). If making an earlier dinner works for you b/c you'll already be at Epcot or DHS that day, go for it!

Have fun!

We really liked LTT for dinner. I would do Crystal Palace for breakfast before park opening on your 3rd day. I really want to to Via Napoli for lunch, so that is what I would do.

I'd consider trading the ltt dinner for a signature dinner at 1 of the monorail resorts. Maybe Citrico's or California Grill.

If you are spending time at DHS, you can also do a signature meal at Brown Derby.
