Could someone with experience with the dining plan help me? If you only get the credits for each night of your stay, that would mean that if you use your credits every day, than on check-out day you would not have any credits to use. Is that correct?

For example if we stay 9 days/8 nights with 5 people we would get 40 TS dining credits total, is that correct?

When I asked the same question just a couple of days ago, I was told by several people that you have your dining credit up to midnight of the day that you check out.

You're right. You get the credits for each NIGHT of your package. So if you do use one snack, one counter service, and one table service (per person) each day, including your arrival day, then you wouldn't have any credits left on your departure day.

You are correct that you have 40 TS credits but you have 40 CS too and 40 snacks. They do expire on midnight of the night you check out of yoru resort.

We found that many nights we were able to share meals. You can not do this for buffets or family style. We used the saved credits to do shows that required 2 credits like Hoop Dee Doo.

We also found that we could easily share some CS meals like Cosmic Rays in MK and save those credits to do one last meal after check out at Pepper Market in Coronado Springs resort.

At Pepper Market a CS credit gets you a very good dinner. We ate dinner there twice. Once on the night we all arrived and once on the afternoon we left.

We stayed at Beach Club and checked out of our room after sleeping in on our last day. I had called a few days ahead and arranged to have our Magic Express switched to Coronado Springs instead of Beach Club. We packed and had my parents and their car take our lugguage to CS to be stored. Then we took our time and said good bye to our resort and went by bus to CS. We shopped the gift shop and walked around a bit then went and had a nice lunch of steaks from the grill.

After lunch we rented one of those four person bikes and we rode all over the place!

At our designated time we went to the Magic Express bus stop and picked up our luggage out of storage. We boarded our bus that was on time and headed to the airport.

It was a very relaxing way to spend our travel day. :earsgirl:
