check on AP rates

OK, OK, OK... when I typed the thing about the 75 pages, I thought "I'd better put a smilie here just in case anyone thinks it's not a joke." I had no idea that with a smiley, anyone would think I was being serious.

Now, I am interested to see how many pages we are at when the rates come out. If I'm right, I'll become one of those sports handicappers with my own 900 number

Why would they release only Sept. AP codes? and Why not release those before the general code?
Where's the love? Where's the perk?

God, if Oct. isn't included, well, I just don't know what I'll do???
Is it possible the Oct. will be the month with no AP discount this year? Like last year's Sept? Please Please, I love you Mickey!!! Make the magic happen!!!

I am very sure that employees at Disney read these and other message boards. I have a feeling with so many people stating that they will purchase an AP just for the room discount but really have no plans on going back within the year really puts a damper on the AP rates.

Since they have been releasing the AP rates later then the general codes lately this is the conclusion I have come to.

Just one persons opinion

Code not for dates after Sept huh? This will not be good. I do not want to have to wait and book last minute (as if there will be any rooms left around the beginning of Christmas week ) waiting for codes. This is ridiculous. In March they released AP rates through July! Why are they being so stingy? I know they had released rates for OCT thru DEC last year. This is really putting a damper on my planning!

Why is it that we can't log into the passholder site if we only have vouchers? We already gave them our money and you can certainly book a room without an activated pass, makes ya wonder?

I read somewhere that the CRO closes at 11pm est. so perhaps after that the new code will come up on the website? Although we would still not be able to call until morning..............Man not only will I have to stay up until that time I will have to get up early again tomorrow if it doesn't post on the website...........I need some beauty sleep this "code watch" is starting to make me cranky!

Are you kidding? A dream come true for Disney. People buy AP just for the room discount and then never come back. It's not like you get tons off for the AP..for the values and mods, it's usually a difference of $6 a night...and it's only offered when the rooms are going begging. An AP would be a waste, if I didn't return to use it another time in the year. Disney wants to fill rooms. That's something they haven't done in a long time. It's like buying a printer..it's not the price of the printer that's making HP rich..it's the ink. Or in other words, all the rest of the things we spend money on in Disney that's making them rich.

Congrats to those waiting for Sep AP codes, but just a couple of weeks ago Sep people got room only codes. So where are the Oct-Dec discounts. I wonder if there is any chance this is going to be longer than one month. I hope

Yes, I saw the post. But does anyone from here - who has called lately - have any other information?

I just don't get the code being only for September. As was mentioned, general codes for September have recently come out. Anyone can use them. People with AP's are going to book with a general code if it is available. A general code is better than nothing ... remember last year.

Generally the AP rate is only a few dollars cheaper than the general code. I would understand the situation better, however, if September were included in the fall offer.

Finally, the infamous e-mail is good through 12/13. Usually AP offers, which come out soon after the direct marketing, mirror the e-mail/postcards for dates/offers.

This is why I don't get it.

Yeah the other website just posted that it does NOT include Oct. I am like everyone here who did not get an email disount needing some type of help here. I quess I am just bitter I did not get a discount, why do they do this to us. Either a code is out or not and everyone should get a email discount (yeah right in perfect Disney world, NOT). I am still just waiting. I sure do hope when rates come out they cover Oct, Nov, and Dec travelers so we can all rest at night. My husband is tired of me hacking away on the computer all night. But a discount is well worth the wait hopefully

I just posted on another thread that I am convinced Mickey Mouse is some sort of closeted sadomasochist. He is definitely trying to torture me. I am also one of the "outcasts" ( ) who didn't get an email (sniffle). After feeling my heart skip a beat every time I hear the chime that indicates new email but having it always be another stupid joke from my uncle I woke up this morning to see "DISNEY" among my new emails. Of course it was only my Disney Insider. Now I look at new emails and see one titled "A Special Offer from Disney Vacations!" and was absolutely giddy opening it....only to find it was a solicitation to buy into DVC at Sarasota Springs. Now it's that AP rates are coming....but only for September and we need October. I think this is the first time they have released just one month (assuming it is correct that it is only for September).

I also read on a completely different board that someone called to ask if they had an email pin associated with their name even though they hadn't received one and was told no, and that it likely wouldn't happen b/c they have heard they are about done sending them. ::sigh::

Is there any info on Stitch preview in Sept? I can not get into the site still.
I really hope that we have some AP codes real soon...some of us are losing our minds.
