I called last night to cancel my Oct reservation, the CM asked me why and when I told her cause there were still no AP rates, she suggested extending the reservation for another week (Aug 9) cause she was SURE they'd be out by then----- I know they dont know, but I liked hearing that anyway- Pip

I just called a few minutes ago. The CM I spoke to wasn't sure there were going to be ANY AP discounts for Sept! He told me their current promotion (AZZ) is doing so well, they might just book everything! He also said these rates are so low, he really can't imagine them be lowered any more.

I don't know who out there is waiting for the AP discounts to come out before booking. I would suggest you make your ressies and use the AZZ code and change it if you can.

We stayed at ASMo in Dec 2001 for $49 with NO AP (just a general code). Nov 2003 at ASMu for $49 WITH AP, and at Pop in Feb 2004 for $49 WITH AP.

Received my Mickey Monitor today and thought for sure there would be some discount news in there.........but alas no. I am almost positive that last years Aug. issue had discounts in it for passholders or FL residents, but I could be wrong. There is something strange going on, also saw in the paper today that they are once again offering the Play 4 Days Pass for use for now til Nov.21 for $119.00 for FL residents. I know this is offered in the spring but don't recall it for the Fall before. Perhaps the attendence projections aren't as rosy as they want us to believe. So perhaps this Sunday will be the day for codes!

That CM must be new. The AZZ rates are not that low-the only great deal was AKL sanannah for 164.00. I am paying $85 for POFQ-I've seen it at $74. Poly GVC was 310.00. We all know that we've seen that much lower. This is value season. I think they released AZZ at higher discounts rates hoping that all of us waiting would book it before having to resort to releasing even lower rates...we'll see. The news about Play 4 is good, though. I will pass it on to my mom!

AZZ saved me $535 over rack rate on my WL woods view, so I'm not complaining. Then again, I'm not a FL resident (darn it), and I'm sure this makes a big difference in the way we view the discounts.
