Check luggage at port going home?

Hey!

We're on Continental Airlines.....did I get this right that certain airlines (like Continental) check your luggage right there at the port?

So, if I have a rental car, I don't need to be lugging it around?

We're on Continental Airlines.....did I get this right that certain airlines (like Continental) check your luggage right there at the port?

The port luggage check is allegedly for those who have Disney transfers. I say allegedly because some in the past have been able to check without, however when we cruised in June of last year, we needed to show we had the transfers in order to get into that area.

Last I heard, it is restricted.

since my family was "lucky" enough to get selected for a random luggage search (every pc. of luggage is emptied) and the tsa does not repack for you-i will always check my own luggage at the airport
