regarging okw, when is the earliest anyone has gotten their room?

It really varies, I have gotten a room (studio) at 8:30am. I've also had to wait until 5:00pm.

I agree with Chuck. We had a guest arrive at OKW at 8 AM, and they put him in the room right away. We certainly were surprised when we arrived at 1 and found him already settled in! On the other hand, we have had a unit that needed MEGA cleaning from the previous guests, and they didn't let us in until 6 because the carpets were not dry.

On April 3 we checked in at 11:00 and a room was ready for us. If we wanted a different location we could have waited.

7:30am on Dec 27 for a GV at OKW. What a pleasant surprise that was. We were at AKL the two nights before and as I was up early went over to check in without really expecting to get the use of the unit until later in the day. It was a Sunday so guess that was one reason and the other was they had done a thorough cleaning because it was a smoking unit and I had requested non smoking - I think they needed a day to get the carpets dry so the unit was out of service on the Saturday. The latest was at BCV at 4:30.
