How well do they handle lines when checking in for the cruise? Is it the busiest when they first open? Or later on when people from the land/sea packages arrive? Is there any reason to arrive early if we do not need excursion/Palo/spa reservations?

Thanks all.

If you have no other reason than to enjoy the ship longer then by all means arrive later. There are perks to getting there early (sans reservations) including:

- Less busy terminal (great for photos)
- The name announcers are more enthusiastic
- Earlier lunch (boarding begins around noon) and more seating choices
- Enjoying the pools without the crowds
- Exploring the ship
- Photographs (without crowds)
and so on

If you have nothing better to do, get the most time for your $ by boarding early and debarking late :teeth:
