Check in online or use kiosk for Alamo?

Hi everyone,

We are renting from Alamo for the first time on our next trip. Is it easier to check in online or use the kiosk? If we check in online can we go straight to the aisle to pick our car? My husband and I are both insider members. Thanks!

I have never checked in online but the kiosks are super easy to use. Complete everything at the kiosk and walk right across to the garage.

I check in on line just pick up your bags and walk to your car and pick it out. While others are at the kiosk or counter I'm in my car.

If you have used a coupon to book your reservation you will not necessarily be able to go directly to the garage, you should probably just check in at the kiosk if you used a coupon.

If you use a coupon you won't be able to check-in online. You will be able to put in some info to save time but you will then need to go to the kiosk or the counter. If you don't use a coupon, then definitely use the online check-in and you will printout all the paperwork and pick out your car and then proceed to the exit and show them the paperwork and your license and off you go.
