That seems like a really long time if your first eligible travel date is June 1st. :scared1: Hopefully they will get things to you quicker, I bet you are anxious to start planning.

Yeah, I'd really just like to get our date set in stone more or less so I can move forward with any other plans. I don't really plan on going until August, but I need the questionnaire to do that! Lol. The email also just mentioned that the contest isn't over, implying that they have until the end of it to technically start getting information out to us...

Congratulations to all of our winners! I have been wondering something. Does anybody have any idea what happens if you need to add an additional person? The tickets and airfare are obvious but it says something about lodging being a standard room for 4 so how do you go about adding someone to the room? Just curious and of course checking so I'll know WHEN:goodvibes I win.

I was wondering the same thing.

Want to be prepared when we're notified that we're winners too. ;)

I didn't get an email today either. :confused3. I really hope it's not weeks before we hear from them either. We're going to have a lot to plan around this trip.

We're having an awesome time at WDW. Thankfully I scrapped the tent camping because it's supposed to rain most of the weekend. Can't dampen our spirits though! :)

Debby, do you mind forwarding me the email so I can see what our options are? I dont plan on contacting anyone. I'm trying hard to be patient! LOL! :rotfl:

Funny that this was the "What I would do with one more day" options today:
Ask if I can ride in the front seat of the Monorail.

My form said "Hotel rooms do not always accommodate more than four people. If you have more than four people in your party an additional hotel room may be required. Any additional rooms are at the winner’s expense, and are based on resort availability." However, I am thinking most deluxe rooms will sleep five. So if you had three kids and two adults you would probably only have to pay for the additional airfare and park tickets. My guess is in that situation you could work with your contact to make those arrangements.

Ha, yeah. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't do that anymore, right? At least that's what they were saying last time I was there. It's funny that's one of the options.

I just found out yesterday I won for the drawing on February 13! Sent my letter back today.:cool1:

Can't wait to hear the details-worried about 'sponsor' selected dates. What could that mean? :confused3

So has anyone found out so far if you can add water park option to the tickets ??:confused3

They told one of the winners they could pay the difference to upgrade their tickets to APs, so I don't see why upgrading them to add waterparks would be a problem.

I think you still can at Disneyland. But it still seems silly to even mention it since they don't at WDW.

Now I REALLY need to win one of these trips!
DH just booked 4 days for just him and I in April (late 15yr anniversary trip that we didn't get to take in Nov)

Not sure how we are going to tell the kids we are going to Disney without them!!!

Was it more detailed than the one page thing I got?

the form was the same - it had a cover letter that rehashed the prize information and gave a contact number for questions. It also said that they would choose the hotel based on occupancy

I was wondering how they informed you if you were a winner. I just browsed through here and found out it was through emails. Sure hope I didn't delete an email that may have ended up in my spam. Would be just my luck. :confused3

Hmm...

We haven't gotten an email or a letter yet, so I'm only going off of what's been mentioned in previous posts.

As I've mentioned before, I would be happy wherever they put us up. But how odd that the people that picked WDW were given hotel options and the DL'ers aren't. :confused3 I wonder if it's because there are more hotels in WDW that occupancy isn't a problem where it might be at DL?

That being said, do you think any of us that went with DL will get to stay in the Grand Californian? (It's the most costly of the on-site hotels, right?)

I promised myself I wouldn't get antsy waiting for info - heck, we don't even want to go until the end of the year! But I have to admit, it's a promise that getting increasingly more difficult to keep!

I've been reading this thread for awhile now and laughed at all the silly stories of the Fed Ex truck and yesterday I got to have my own!

As of yesterday morning I'd been up since about 10am Wednesday morning. Horrible sleep problem that has plagued me for years. Anyways DH heads up to bed (he works 3rd shift) and I was finally tired so I figured I'd sleep on the couch till the kids got home from school.

I took off my glasses and laid down when I thought about making sure the kids could get in the house. I stood up and went to make sure the front door was unlocked when I noticed a big white blob coming up the street. I couldn't tell it was a Fed Ex truck till it got closer. The truck went past my house and I was like "dang". Well then it started backing up!!

I ran into the other room and grabbed my glasses and ran back to the front door to see that the Fed Ex truck was letting the garbage truck out of my driveway. Another "dang" popped out. Well then the Fed Ex truck pulled into my driveway!!! OMG my heart was beating out of my chest! I pulled open the door and the truck wasn't anywhere in sight. I ran from the front to the back of the house and looked out the laundry room window and could see the back of the truck!! It was stopped at my back porch!!! He wasn't just using my driveway to turn around!!

I ran across the kitchen and pulled open the door, scaring the crap out of the driver. He smiled and handed me a box!! Wait....A box??? Disney sends the notice in a box?!?!

I flipped the box around to look at the address label and it said....Coach Services Inc.

It was the purse I order from Coach. I was so sad. I can honestly say that was the first time that I wasn't happy with a new Coach purse.

Well, the time when both of us want to go, late Sept to early Oct, aren't peak season, so hopefully we will get the GC (if that's where you want to stay). Although, my husband put it very well last night, after lamenting about not wanting to get PP, he said, "I've never stayed in any Disney property, and this is free, so I shouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth." It would still be nice to stay someplace that we couldn't afford to stay normally (on one income).
