No one knows how they are drawing, but it does not appear that they are drawing winners in the way it is listed in the rules. One of the winners on this board won for Feb 12th or 13th (can't remember exact date). So, we know that they have for sure drawn up to one of those days.

Hey, I'm not Hispanic but the rules only say you have to be a legal resident of the US or Canada. If it wasn't for medical and dental bills we'd be going this year...grrrr.

Yes, you can extend your dates, and I think add a person in the comments section. I meant there was no place to add in another family going with you.

I've been entering online while at college, but the address for my account is my home one...so...if by some wonderful miracle I won and my parents received all the paperwork and stuff instead of me, would that be a problem? Thoughts?

I had the same moment!!! And the delivery was from DirectTV too!
Even my poor son finally caught the bug. He came running to the room and was like, "Fed Ex is in front of the house!!!!! I said he could go look at the door and he called up, "There's somethign here!! BUT IT'S A BOX!" (disapppointment dripping in his voice.) It was a DirectTv internet adapter thingy.

Why can't they use UPS like normal people?

I had my "I think I won!" moment yesterday. I've been entering almost every day by text. I haven't read every page of this thread but so far all I've seen about people who entered by text was that they are contacted on their cell.

I never answer my cell if it is a number I don't know. Yesterday it rang and the called ID said Anaheim, CA!! I was sure this was it, I grabbed it and said Hello??!! A lady said, "Is this Mrs. So and So?" I practically shouted Yes! She said, "I'm calling from..." I was ready to hear Disney or Ventura or about the contest - anything. But she said, "I'm calling from XYZ Country Club and we are coming next week to take pictures of all the members..." I guess our country club hired a company based in Anaheim to do our member directory.

Oh well, I'm back to waiting for my text or call...

I was picking up my 7yr old from school today and a fedex truck drove by. He said, "Mom, you must have won and they knew that you would be here picking me up right now!" aww my obsession has rubbed off on the kids now!

I emailed the Ventura people yesterday actually, and today they just said that the information had been received and forwarded to the sponsor, but that it can take 6-8 weeks for them to coordinate everything and get the info sent to us, so I suppose for those of us that haven't heard from that we should just be patient.

I tried the link for the "Disney Store 25th Anniversary Sweepstakes". I get directed to the correct site, that's not the problem.

It refuses to accept my postal code!! It doesn't matter if I leave a space or remove the space. It keeps insisting it's not valid.

Turns out Ventura is admistering that contest as well.

I e-mailed them to explain the issue and ask if it can be fixed so us Canadians can enter as well according to the rules.

Out of curiosity - have any Canadians been able to enter or do you get the same error message?

That seems like a really long time if your first eligible travel date is June 1st. Hopefully they will get things to you quicker, I bet you are anxious to start planning.
