We are staying at SSR June 8-13. Do you know what the check in/out times are? We are flying in from Colorado. Our plane lands at 12:35, so I am guessing we should get to the resort around 1:30-2:00. Do you think our room would be ready then? If not, maybe I should pack some swim suits in carry-ons. Of course, maybe I should anyway if we do the delivery the bag thing from ME since our bags may not be there until later. Also, on our departure day, our plane leaves at 2:35. We will probably leave at 12:00 or so. We won't be visiting any parks that day because we didn't see spending the money on an extra day for only a few hours. How flexible are they for late check out? Any info would be great! Thank you!

Because of flight times, our last 3 trips we've arrived at CBR at 10AM and all 3 times our room was ready. But, we always pack our swimsuits and such in our carry on just in case. Official check in time is after 4PM.

Official check out time is 11AM. We've never been able to get a late check out. Mousekeeping has to approve that. But, even though you are checked out you can use all the resort amenities until midnight of your check out day. So when we've had a late flight we lounge by the pool all day. The main pools all have showers and locker rooms by them. With a 2:35 flight, your ME pick up time will most likely be at 11:30 so there's really no need for a late check out time.:thumbsup2

I do online check in and request the room to be ready. There is a box to check. It will trump any room requests but if you really want a room done, it may be worth it.

On check out, I have usually requested late check out. I call housekeeping the night before we check out and they typically give me 1pm. If they are super booked, it might not be granted, but they try to accommodate

Check in time for DVC/Villas are 4:00PM, regular resort check-in is 3:00PM. SSR would be 4:00PM. Check out time is 11:00AM. Availabilty of room before check-in time depends on housekeeping/availability at any resort on day of arrival. You can request a late check out but that is not guarantteed. It depends if they need the room for another guest. It never hurts to ask. We always pack swimsuits in carryon!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

And if you know you want a late check out, it is best to request it at the time of checkin. They can only grant so many per day and it is kinda one of those first come, first served things. So the sooner you ask, the better chance you have of getting your request met.
At least that has been my experience....

I have tried this..I am always told to call the day before because that is when Housekeeping gets the inventory. At least, that is what I was told.
