My on-site rooms are already paid for - when I check in I don't want charging privileges. My question is -

Do I only need to give them a credit card if I want express check-out? or do they require it just because?

Thanks

They probably will require either a credit/debit card or cash deposit to cover any incidental room charges (telephone, mini-bar, etc.).

You're better off using a credit/debit card, as I think the cash/traveler's cheques refund is issued by check via mail and takes a couple of weeks.

Just be sure to check your bill very carefully before checking out!

In the past if I didn't want charging privledges or express check out I didn't ahve to leave a credit card or money with them. Don't know if it would be any different if there was a mini bar in the room as we have never had one.

As far as I know, none of the WDW resort hotels require you to leave a credit card at check in. If the CM insists (and I'm sure s/he will not), just tell them you will not be charging to the room and will not need express checkout

Best wishes -
