Check in at OKW

We are arriving Tuesday, I did online check in to hopefully make life a little easier. My parents are arriving first as they are driving in while the rest of us are flying in and won't get in until 10pm-ish. My question is if my parents check in, will we be all squared away to just get off ME and go straight to the villa, or do we need to also go and check in at the front desk. We will all head down together to get everyone's credit cards arranged on their magic bands, as mine is the only one attached to them all, and well...that just isn't happening

You should be set to go straight to your villa when you arrive. The only reason to stop at the check in desk would be if you wanted to set up your credit card for charging.

There are times when you do have to stop at the front desk before going to your villa. Mostly if there is a problem with your charging. Otherwise, you'll get your room assignment by 4PM or shortly thereafter. Check in at DVC resorts if after 4PM.

My phone and email are set if they call to let us know the room is ready, but yes, parents will arrive between 3 and 4pm, they are aware the room may not be ready at that time, which isn't a big deal for them since they are driving. Since I'll be on a plane around that time, I want them to have as much info so they aren't trying to get ahold of me while I'm in the air.
