Spring Break is super point heavy so we are planning to book an offsite hotel for arrival night.

I am strongly considering doing a redeye that lands a little after midnight which is why I need the room before our check-in way later that day.

I have no points left to book another dvc night even if I wanted to, which i dont.

My question is, if we arrive a little past midnight and there happened to be a room ready, Would Disney check us in at that time? Im not expecting anything to be available and im booking this offsite room, but if it is a possibility, i dont mind losing the money for the offsite room and heading straight to Disney and asking if theres something ready.

I just want to know if a room is not occupied that matches my room type, would they check someone in a little after midnight when check-in would typically be at 4pm? Has this happened to anyone? TIA

I’m not 100% sure, but I would think not because the rollover happens at 11am.
Checkout is 11 AM. You can get into a room as early as 6 AM if one is not in use because that is when the Disney day begins. This allows arriving onsite guests to take advantage of early entry, tickets and dining credits. Officially, Disney will say that "check in" for the room begins at 4 PM and rooms may not be available until even later than that.

It helps to think of reservations in terms of nights in the room and not days that start at midnight. The OP will not get into a room a little after midnight unless something is open and they pay for the night in either cash or points.

You could consider one night offsite there are many hotels with good prices and breakfast. Not likely to get into a room before 8 am morning of.

Thanks for the info!
