Check in at AKL? (Efficient or not?)

Hi!

I was just wondering about the check-in experience at the AKL.

Does it take forever, or is it pretty smooth?

It seems to me that the better the resort, the better the check-in. I know that on my last trip it took almost 1 1/2 hours (that was at POR).

We arrived around 10:00am on a Saturday morning and waited only about 5 minutes to get to a check in CM... it was very smooth and the CM was extremely helpful and pleasant. She helped us pick a room that gave us most of our requests.

Our ck in at AKL on 4 occasions was as seamless as can be! Never had better service! When we were staying on the concierge level, we just told the bellman at the door we were in a concierge room and he had our packet, keys, etc. right there! Took us up to our room immediately! All told barely 5 min. When we were in a standard room and had to ck in at the lobby, the wait was 10 - 15 min at most. The CM's at this hotel are really top notch! I have nothing but good things to say.

We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and walked right up to check-in. There were a few CM's standing around waiting for guests!!

Hey Collegeville...I'm in Royersford...
AKL is the smoothest check in I've ever had...very helpful, went over my requests, the savannahs, dining, activities...didn't wait at all....walked right up. Don't worry at all!

Thanks for the info. I was a little concerned because I'll be traveling with two young boys (one only a year) and I didn't want to spend all day in line like my last trip to WDW. I'm guessing that since everyone who has replied has an upcoming trip to the AKL, it must be a great resort.

I'm starting to get really excited to go (only 4 more months).
