If we check in after 6 or 7pm are we going to get a handicap, or smoking room? I know the earlier the better, but I did state a NS room because I have asthma and I also have a 3 yo who I need the tub for (the rest of us can get showers). We just decided to fly instead of driving so we'll get to the world around 4:30-5 ish, but are going directly to 1900 PF to celebrate my DD's 3rd birthday. (I tried pushing the time back, but nothing is available anywhere until 8pm or later. Make those ADRs now!) We'll be in a studio for the first part of the trip and I don't know if that'll make a difference or not. Will get still get a good room? TIA

I may be in the minority, but Easter of 2005 our flight was delayed over 6 hours, and then the airline lost our bag. We didn't get to VWL until after midnight. Our room was close to the elevators overlooking the pool. It was great!

My usual check in time is between 10:00pm & 1:00am (and I fly down 3-5 times a year). I've never been given a handicapped or smoking room. Luck of the draw? Maybe.

All the rooms I've had have been acceptable. Let's face it, though. What I consider fine, someone else may think unacceptable.

Don't worry we checked in at 11:00-11:30 over Thanksgiving weeked and I thought for sure it would be the dumpster view......we had a beautiful view of Luna Park! Humm I wonder if maybe that's the trick???

Enjoy!

We traveled with another couple last October and requested that the rooms be close together. We checked in at 2 PM. They didn't get in until almost 8 PM. Their rooms ended up being right next door! (and by the way, it wasn't because there were plenty of rooms and they chose it. BWV was completely sold out that week!)

We checked in on May 7th at 8am and only got a wooded view and the power transformer.

We checked in to BCV after midnight during one of our trips - and we got a magnificant view of Epcot!! :sunny:

I think you should be fine....I wouldn't worry. ;)

We checked in at 1:00 a.m. the Sunday (actually Monday a.m.) before Easter in a studio at OKW.

We had all of our requests met, n/s near HH. Nor was it a handicapped room.

We had a corner room in building 23 (2326 I think). The balcony was fairly small - don't know if this is the normal size having never stayed in a studio at OKW before - with some pretty intense foliage, but since we don't tend to use the balcony very much didn't bother us.

I was actually surprised to see that they had us checked in and ready to go. She just handed me my materials and off we went. There were still 4 packets to be picked up.

Thanks all! The only thing I was worried about was the tub. We never equest a view and it's not a priority for us (we're just glad to be there), but we certainly wouldn't turn it down! :teeth:
