check from Ipsos Interactive Services

I just got a $10 check from Ipsos Interactive Serices US, Inc. for "Incentive." I have no idea where this is from. When I googled it, there were some scam entries, but nothing concrete. Anyone have any ideas?

I get random "checks" in the mail sometimes.

Look at the front and back of the check carefully. There is probably a line somewhere that says "By cashing this check, you agree to enrollment in xyz" or "By cashing this check, you agree to a subscription of xyz."

Other than that, I have no ideas. Ipsos is apparently a survey type company. Did you participate in a group study or online study of some kind? Any time I've done market research, I received payment at the time of the study though.. not in the mail later.

I get e-mails from Ipsos for online surveys (one of the many junk mail things I now get from doing various points sites) but I've never completed any of their surveys. Do you do MyPoints or any of those rewards sites? Maybe you completed a survey for Ipsos through another site.

No, nothing on the check like that. I've done surveys before - online for Mypoints, and via phone, but never paid. Just odd. Not sure I want to cash the check because my checking account number will be on the back.

Hello! I also just received my $10 check today. I'm assuming yours could be for the same thing as mine? I remember completing a very detailed Disney Visa questionnaire and it stated they would send a check. My check does state JP Morgan Chase on the front.

Ipsos is a survey company, I think they are affiliated with My Points as I get points with My Points for the surveys I do with Ipsos, credited in both programs.

Ditto Heather. I received the $10 check for survey re Disney "Premier" Visa survey.

I vaguely remember doing a Disney Visa survey via phone, but I don't remember $10 being attached to it. I wished they would have given a better description rather than "Incentive." I guess I can cash it - and straight into the Disney envelope it goes!
