Help! I have decided not to take 'no' for an answer and plan a trip with (at the very least) my 9 year old daughter over the Labor Day holiday. I can do 3 days in the park even including my drive time there and back. Problem is-as usual- money. I hope to take my husband and 15 year old as well so we need cheap, basic lodging that isn't nasty. We are members of Farm Bureau Insurance which gives us something like 20% off a Choice Hotel-so we probably will do that.

Any suggestions on a decent choice? I know I have plenty of time, but I have to start saving now and I need a number to shoot for.

Check out the Comfort Inn LBV. Rooms there area no frills- but they're usually clean, safe, and modern. Gets good reviews as a budget friendly hotel. Rates are usually low $40's-mid $50's per night. Also, includes free breakfast.
