I dont know about at the park, but I just bought a Grab Bag of 25 Trading Pins for around $43 dollars on mousepinsonline.com. They had a special that when you buy the pins you get a free landyard. They also have grab bags of 5, 50 pins also...

I get mine from ebay. I've bought from the same person a couple of times. If you want the ebay name please PM me and I'll get it for you. It was about $18.50 for 10 pins. Problem is, my kids love most of them and arent sure they want to trade them. LOL!

i get the grab bags from the same place as the first poster said. They have always served me well. this time we will get 75 in the grab bag we get.

thanks for the heads up on before trip options... unfortunately or rather fortunately... I am already here.... and forgot to bring extra pins...

EBAY EBAY EBAY....... I can't stress this enough. I just got hooked and Ebay is keeping me from spending too much money. Do a search for "Disney Pin Lots" and there are some pick your own lot size.. I see one for $1.29 a pin!!!!!!!!!!! That is super cheap. Usually there is one for $1.35 a pin which is still a great value. The best part is they are buy it now so the price is fixed and you are not bidding against others. I have purchased 100 pins online and had no problem trading them. You get multiples but they are traders so who cares... I have traded them all at DLR and had no problem.

Thanks for the suggestions. I plan on stocking up on a few traders per child before our next trip. Save a little $$$ before we even get there. :thumbsup2

kcchica, there is a set of 7 pins for something like $30. It comes in a red box and they have it a the Emporium, Star Traders, and World of Disney.

Have fun,
Dreams

Unfortunately IME most of the large lots or pins that are available for $1.29 are not legitimate Disney pins, they are "scrappers" which means they are overruns or pins that were not passed due to quality control. Most times you can tell this simply by looking at them. I do buy on eBay but not in the large lots anymore, unless I know the person selling them is liquidating a personal collection. Please visit the collectors board for more information on scrappers and for a list of sellers that many of us have had personal dealings with and been pleased with the purchases.

OP, mousepins is also a good place to get good traders at a good price. As for pins in the parks, I think Dreams gave you the best option. I always check the set prices when we go, just to make sure of what our options are if we run out of traders. Which has been known to happen. lol
