Cheapest way to buy stock?

Hi! We had been planning on buying 500 shares of the Eurodisney stock so that we could buy into the Stockholder's Club & after seeing the consolidation request, we figure that we should probably go ahead and buy them sooner rather than later so that we can get the AP discount. I was going to open an on-line discount brokerage account in order to purchase these shares (you can now buy them as US residents). However, I was wondering if there is an easier (or cheaper) way of doing this. Sorry I'm kind of a dunce on how this works here as we've just moved to the UK from Florida. I thought I had read someone post something about buying them through a bank??? Any and all input great appreciated!

Afraid I won't be much help here. I bought mine through the Nationwide Building Society because their charges were very reaonable but that was when they were still listed on the London Stock Exchange. Hope someone else can help.

I bought mine through www.squaregain.com who bought them through Paris Stock Exhange. Their customer service is not up to much but it served my purposes

Same as Reid . I used Squaregain and would have the same view , served the purpose !!
