Cheapest place to buy milk (gallon) on site?

We plan to have a few breakfasts in our room this trip. Doe anyone *happen* to know if you can purchase 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon of milk at CBR's store or at the food court? I know we can't afford it by the pint. I was also wondering about some of the gas stations like Hess. We do have a vehicle, but we prefer not to drive off site if we can help it.

Yes, every gift shop sells milk, usually a half gallon will fit in your fridge in a moderate resort. You can also buy other basics, like cereal, granola bars, Entenmann's, bread, peanut butter and jelly, orange juice, individual bottles of beer - that sort of thing. You can usually buy enough in any gift shop to eat breakfast and lunch.

If you want to drive from CBR and stay on-site, you could go to Old Key West, Boardwalk or Beach Club - those are the closest DVCs. Any resort with a DVC has a much more extensive grocery selection, since they have kitchens.

Hess station is cheaper than onsite prices. There's one across from DTD and one near the Boardwalk. That's mostly milk, juice, cases of beer, booze, and snacks plus some basic essentials.

As @sharadoc states, go to Hess across from CBR. Much cheaper prices than the resort stores.

Thanks so much! We typically have done well on the dining plan alone, but my boys aren't so little anymore. Plus, we find it hard to make it to EMH if we eat at the food court! Y'all rock! Thanks again!

Hess will be the cheapest place, all of the resorts should have the same price although DVC resorts will have a larger selection of other food as well.

Garden Grocer will deliver but you will pay a delivery fee. If you have a vehicle why wait till you get to the resort? Buy milk at your last fill up.

There is a Wal-Mart and a Winn-Dixie(?) just outside the main gate of WDW. Stop there and bring it in.

I haven't check prices in a while but 1/2 gallons of milk were one item that Disney didn't charge an excessive amount. I think the last time I checked it was $2.99. It may have gone up but in the past it has been the same or cheaper than Garden Grocer.

I bought a half gallon of whole milk on Saturday at the Poly and paid $2.99.
