Cheapest moderate hotel?

Is there a moderate hotel that is usually the cheapest? Or are all the rates typically the same at each level of resort?

With the moderates, they are all the same give or take a little for a water view.

I think all the values & all the mods are the same (except for the preferred rooms). Some of the mods have bigger rooms, some have boat access to DTD (POFQ & POR), all have slides at their pools.

The deluxes, however, have a wide range of room prices, depending on resort choice and room categories.

Water view rooms do cost more and aren't usually worth it. There are differences in the moderate range at each hotel.

CBR has no elevators. CSR has only one sink in the bath area. POFQ has no TS. POR has no elevators in the AB section. POR and POFQ share buses. POFQ is picked up first. Which can mean if you are staying at POR you may have to stand if you get on the bus. But PO is the only moderate to have a boat to DTD. POR has carriage rides as well. They both have night time performers as well.

The mods are all priced the same for the same room type.

Disney's resorts have themes.

I would choose the theme that most appealed to my family and try it out.

CBR has the wonderful beach area.

POFQ has the New Orleans look.

POR has the Ab section and the Mansions with the deep south look.

And CSR has the southwest look.

'CBR is 340 square feet and the other mods are 314.

They are basically laid out the same but CSR only has 1 sink with a larger vanity area (the other have 2 sinks.)

POFQ is not as spread out as the other mods or the values.


POR CBR and CSR are very spread out.


The mods have pool slides, a hot tub and a sit down restaurant (POFQ doses not have a sit down restaurant but shares with POR.)

POFQ and POR are concidered sister resorts so they share pools.

When staying at one of these resorts you can use the other resort's pool.
You can also refill your refillable mug at either of the food courts.


Some of the rooms at POR in the AB section have a trundle bed and can sleep 5.

CBR has 7 bus stops.
CSR has 4 bus stops.
PO has 5 stops. 1st stop POFQ then 4 stops at POR.
POFQ & POR do have a boat to DTD.

All of them cost the same. CSR doesn't share buses like POR/POFQ. CSR has a very nice main pool area, awesome landscaping and terrific food.

If you're not on the dining plan, keep in mind that the food court is more expensive at CSR than at the other mods for most entrees.

Typically they are all the same cost unless you get a package deal, code or can use a AAA discount. CSR offers much more than the other mods for the same price if you can take advantage of some of the amenities. They have a spa, salon, fitness center, 4 lounges (Rix has live entertainment), full menu room service, a great main pool area with an awesome slide, transportation that is not shared, and an upscale food court that offer rib eye, prime rib dinners and much more.

CSR also has a beach area in the cabana section.

CBR has transportation that is not shared.
POFQ and POR are sister resorts . They are considered part of the same resort and the bus just makes a loop stopping at the bus stops.PO dosen't share transportation with other resorts. All of the mod resorts take a bus loop to the stops at their resorts.

The Deluxe resorts are the resorts that share. Their stops with the exception of BC/YC and Swan/Dolphin are not sister resorts located right next to each other.
