Cheapest Flight Only Deals Aug 2003

Hi All

I thought I would check with you guys on where you go for best flight only prices. I am trying to find flights for 17/8 - 27/8 or perhaps a couple of days later. I know it is school holidays but can anyone recommend somewhere to get flights cheaper than the £650 - £700 p.p. that I keep finding?

Maybe I have set expectations a bit high but I was sure I would find something cheaper than that.

Expedia are showing available flights with us airways for £563 inc tax but you still need to shop around.(flying from gatwick)

We've booked with Travel City Direct for our August flights, from Manchester & paying £ 509 but be warned they are going up.

No reductions for children though our youngest will be 11 when we fly.

I booked one more seat 4 days later & it had gone up £80.

These were the cheapest from a firm we'd heard of. DH is still very wary of booking over the web.

These are direct flights there are cheaper if you're willing to change but we didn't want to.

I still think they're expensive but because of my job I'm tied to school hols.
