I am looking to book some activities for our trip to Aulani in October. We are looking to book Fia Fia Luau, and Kualoa ranch horseback tour adventure package so far. I was wondering what the cheapest way to book these things is? Also do we have to prebook anything for Pearl Harbour? Any other things that are awesome that we should look into? We will have a rental car

For the Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor, you can reserve tickets 2 months in advance on their website. I recommend setting up an account before the day you are trying to reserve tickets for. Make sure you are online when the tickets go on sale. I believe it is 7AM Hawaiian time. The tickets sell out super fast! They are really inexpensive, $1.50 and that is just a processing fee. If you decide just to get there in the early morning to get tickets, they are free. Here is the link:

I'm sorry I cannot help with anything else, although I believe I read the Fia Fia show is only one night a week. =)

Just search places like yelp to find other places that offer the same stuff and check their prices.
I know the tendency on this site is towards a neurotic pre plan the everything for the next 10 years mentality, but we have never had trouble getting tickets to anything. Its hawaii, just relax and have a good time.

I booked the Dolphins and You tour through "Living Social" for a discount. It was great! I booked it about a week in advance and got the last few spots on the boat. (They have a Groupon too, but the Groupon is only good for the later tour, and we wanted the earlier one.)
I booked our zip line excursion through Climb Works. (It was amazing!!!) I could not find a discount anywhere though. And I checked often. It was expensive, but worth it. I booked it a couple months in advance. Some other people we met at Aulani tried to book but they were totally booked the week we were there.

Another option is to buy the Hawaii Entertainment book before you go. Then before you leave, just bless someone with the book:)

I would definitely try to reserve the tickets in advance. The day we went (we had reservations), we got there at 7:00 and by the time we got up to the ticket window, they were already up to tickets for the 2:30 time. They were completely sold out of Arizona tickets for the day by 8:00.

We booked most of our excursions through savontours.com. They offered the best value on the tours we booked. I am not sure they offer fia fia discounts, though.

Check with Marriott - they sometimes offer two free Fia Fia tickets for doing the sales presentation.

One year we got two free dolphin snorkel trips for doing it, but of course bought 4 more for our group to all go, LOL!

We're owners there though, so not sure if they offer anything for folks not staying there. It's worth a call to Marriott Vacation Club or the resort direct and ask for sales and ask what they're offering.

We always buy the Entertainment Book & give it either leaving it at the lending library at the resort or passing it along to friends that are going to Hawaii later that year. Sometimes the car rental savings are good!

Good idea to check living social and groupon.

Just a heads up that the Arizona memorial is currently under renovation and you can not go onto the memorial itself. We just returned from Oahu and visited Pearl Harbor during our stay at Aulani. They do still sell tickets for the memorial, however the ferry that nomally drops you off at the memorail now circles the Arizona so you can only view it from the water. I'm not sure how long the renovation will last; perhaps it is on their website.
