Does anyone know of the cheapest character dining experience? We've already done Askershus which was fantastic but this time around we are going with the Quick Dining Plan and character dining isn't included. The kids we would like to surprise with a character dining experience but want to make sure it is as affordable as possible . thanks!

I do not know the prices off the top of my head, but IIRC. 'Ohana breakfast was a great value. Stick with breakfast and the cost is reduced. This one is our favorite breakfast.

I woudl look at 1900 PF as well. I think that when you make choices, you need to look at the entire meal and not just the cost because a meal no one wants to eat, or chapters no one cares about has no value.

It looks like most of the character breakfasts are around the same price (except Chef Mickeys, Akershus and CRT, of course), so really availability and who you want to see are where you should focus. Everyone in my group loves Crystal Palace breakfast (Pooh French toast is marvelous!), and I have heard great things about Garden Grill's breakfast.

Garden GROVE over at The Swan has a weekend character breakfast that is $21A/$13C. I'm not sure which characters are there, but that would definitely be the cheapest.

As others have said, most of the others on property are the same price of $32A/$19C

There is no such thing as "Cheapest" at WDW. There is "Less Expensive." :rotfl2: As for prices, I can't really add anything new here. Breakfast is the least expensive and outside of Chef Mickey, Akershus and CRT they are all about the same price. If I do remember correctly though, Garden Grove as a character breakfast is only on weekends and it use to be Goofy & Pluto on Saturday and then on Sunday Chip & Dale joined Goofy and Pluto. Perhaps someone else out there knows if this is still true.

Yes Garden Grove weekend breakfast! If you are a AAA member bring your card! You'll get 20% off.

We always found 1900 PF and Crystal Palace to be on the end of the cheapest character breakfast. I think it's only Saturdays and Sundays, but Garden Grove in the Swan also has characters and I think that's cheaper than any of the ones in the Disney resorts and parks.

a way to make a character meal 'cheaper' is to bridge two meals.... i.e. eat a light snack earlier in morning, then a late breakfast/early lunch buffet.... or a late lunch/early dinner buffet with a snack later.... that's a way to spend less on that day for food....

my 4 year old is still raving about Hollywood and Vine. Not because of the food but because she met her favorites: Sofia the First, Doc Mcstuffins and Jake (neverland pirates).

food was bleh. same with crystal palace and Tusker.
