The Gas station opposite Down Town Disney, sells water and soft drinks for only $1.29, thats over half the price in the parks. I stopped there every morning before going to the parks to stock up.

It's true. My DH told me that he noticed a few gas stations and noticed that their prices for various things was much cheaper.

Or stop at one of the local grocery stores and buy a multi pack and it's even cheaper...

Stop at the Wal-Mart, Publix, or other store on the way to WDW and you'll save a bunch more money. A 12-can case will run you around $5. The other nice thing about bringing your own is that you aren't locked into Coke products.

If you do buy a drink in the park - get it without ice because it's cold anyway!:D

I usually pack some to take down in our suitcases, this way it gives me the room to also take souveniers home as well!

DH, an avid Pepsi drinker that doesn't care much for water, brought a 1-quarter cooler bottle and bought Pepsi at our grocery stop. He'd fill it up with ice and Pepsi in the morning and again at our afternoon break. If we didn't get back from a break, he found that you can go to one stand and ask them to fill it with ice, and then go to a second stand and buy a soda with no ice. You can't do both at one stand--they won't let you.

and also bring from home the Mickey topper we bought a few yrs ago for the bottled drinks and little one does'nt care if water is in bottle as long as she has Mickey topper!!
