Cheaper Fare Rates?

I've been looking for cheap SDF to MCO 5/10-5/14 and have checked everyday, signed up for SW dings, searched for coupon codes, checked other airlines and airports. Am I too close to travel date to get a good deal?

if they are sold out on your available flights - then yes.

that say with their recent problems = they might be cancelling flights - so you might be glad you have anything.

Are you locked into your dates? If you could switch by a day, you could fly AirTran out of Lexington for $176 RT (5/11-5/15) + luggage & seat assignments. They only fly Monday, Wed, Fri & Sun and one flight in & out per day. But we used them last trip and thought they were great. I'm pricing them again for our upcoming October trip.

SWA out of SDF is way too pricey (right now our Oct trip is sitting at $1800+ for the 4 of us for RT non stop). I also check Delta out of CVG regularly. We've flown SWA & Delta exclusively in the past 12 years but last trip we tried AirTran and were satisfied. I'm wishing they hadn't been bought by SWA. My low cost option out of LEX is going to go bye bye I'm afraid.

You are getting close to too late. You might get lucky and get a sale. (AirTran announced one yesterday) but once you hit the 30 day window the odds aren't as good.
