Where do you guys go to buy tickets for Disneyworld cheaper? I keep looking different places and I thought I would aks some frugal mama's like me! :)

The places not to buy tickets are eBay and Craigslist and the kiosks on US192.

My friend bought a code off of ebay and went for 5 days really cheap - the tickets were awesome - but I cant find that - so now I'm looking for other alternatives. anyone else?

"Cheap" park tickets to WDW don't really exist (on the up and up at least) - and if you find some - I would be VERY SUSPICIOUS if I was you. There are SMALL discounts at places like undercovertourist, but it is not a huge savings. Nor is any legitimate discount.

Your friend and ebay - might have been an illegal transfer of tickets and that is very risky - you might get there and find you need to buy brand new tickets at the gate.

For peace of mind - I would just go with a reputable discounter (AAA, undercovertourist, etc) and know that you are buying good, usable tickets.

You can get a small discount at local AAA offices, if you are a member.

I just received my tickets from Undercover Tourist the other day :) I found that they were a bit cheaper than other sites, especially because they're not charging for shipping. We got the 5 day base with 1 day extra option. Yay! :woohoo:

Lastminutetravel.com has WDW tickets, and they seem to be substantially cheaper than I've seen them elsewhere. I haven't bought them for WDW, but have for DLR and it has been a smooth transaction. ATM I'm planning on using them for our WDW trip next year unless something cheaper (and legit!) comes up. :goodvibes

Another thumbs up for Undercover Tourist. Have been using them for years with no problems. I'd also be very skeptical of deeply discounted tickets - they just don't exist (legitimately). Even UT will only save you a few bucks per ticket over WDW prices (as well as AAA and the other reputable ticket sellers). I wouldn't buy tickets on eBay or Craigslist in a million years. There's absolutely no way to confirm if they're used or not til you get to the gate...and that is just way too risky for me!

Are the Undercover Tourist tickets paper or plastic? I'm trying to figure out of they'll hold up for 7 days of use if they are plastic (getting them out, using them for fast passes, etc). Thanks!

They are paper - but I have just had Guest Services transfer ours to the plastic card - Key To The World Card.

UT has the Tyvek paper tickets - they're not paper, they are virtually indestructable material. WDW no longer issues tickets on plastic cards unless you purchase a package - so even if you buy tickets from them, they are the Tyvek ones. You can get Tyvek tickets transferred to your room key once you're in WDW.

If you are going in June or July, you could do Disney's Youth Education series. They have open enrollment right now. Your child goes to a short class at one of the Disney parks and everyone in your party can get discount tickets. I got them for me and my son and it was $356 for 2 7 day park hoppers. Normal Disney prices are $608 for the same thing.

Info on the program here

When you click on tickets, it will say winter open enrollment is over, but just click on the link for summer open enrollment. There is also a thread here about the Y.E.S program.

Has anyone used DWTickets.com?

I haven't used them, but they are a reputable company. Before you purchase, however, check out UT--there's no shipping charge, which can be quite an added expense. I was just about to purchase from DWT and when I went to check out, I couldn't believe the shipping charges. UT ended up being quite a bit cheaper and I got an extra day on the ticket.

I have been doing a lot of research into finding the best deal for WDW tickets and have also found Undercover Tourist to be the cheapest. Their prices include all fees and FREE shipping!

We buy 10 day tickets with no expiration date. They last us a few years because we only do 2-4 parks every time we go to Disney. Since ticket prices increase every year, this saves $, BUT it's hard to come up with the cost of a 10 day ticket every time you need one, especially for large families.

If I buy my tickets from Undercover Tourist and I decide to stay longer, can i add more days to these tickets?
