We are heading down again in March (THANK you Southwest!) We will be getting a 14-day pass for Universal, no Disney time. The Universal pass includes Wet and Wild, but we didn't much like Wet and Wild and aren't interested in going back.

In the past we'd get an Orlando Flex ticket (about $100 pp more than just Universal), which gives us unlimited visits to Aquatica. So, an extra $400 for the family. Good value if we had time to enjoy it, but we won't be able to spend more than a couple of days anywhere besides Universal this trip.

One day at Blizzard Beach or Aquatica is about $50 pp. And $200 for one day for our family is too much, and too much pressure!! (I hate HAVING to have a good time TODAY. ;-) ) Alternately we might consider added Busch Gardens for a day for something different--we've never been.

What I'd really like? A way to get TWO days at Aquatica or a Disney waterpark for less than $100 pp. Does it exist? Are there deals I can watch for? Boxtops I can collect? Loyalty points I can trade?

I have just re-upped for the Mousesavers newsletter, so in a couple of weeks I'll be able to see the better rates through Undercover Tourist.

sometimes in the off season, like in the spring, Aquadica has cheap tickets. I'd check the website. I think this year it was like $29 or so. They do heat most of the water, so it's a great park even if it's a bit cold.

Othewise, no cheap water park. Doubt there are Disney water park discounts.

Thanks for the link, PP. I had no idea there were tickets like that.
Too bad we're going in December and I have no interest in swimming then. But, maybe next trip.

an annual pass for just the disney water parks runs right around $100 each. Thats gives you a whole lotta flexibility.

On the same page the PP gave you are "any day" tickets for $37pp per day. 2 days with those would be only $74pp. They are good for a year from the purchase date.

So I'm not sure why you are saying you are having problems getting it under $100pp for two days

If you go to discovery cove for one day you also get included 10 days of Aquatica and Sea World tickets!

JoAnne, keep an eye on the Blue Friday deals offered by the SW parks during the Black Friday time period (we usually chat about those offers quite a bit on the SW forum, so come visit us over there :) ). Those deals are well publicized on their respective Facebook pages too. You might get in some great ticket and dining deals for those parks if you can purchase while those sales are on. Last year we picked up Aquatica all-day dining passes for just $12 per person. They often have ticket and AP offers on the Blue Friday sales, too.

Thanks folks. I know the longer passes can be better value per visit, but we don't have as much time as usual this time, and I don't want to spend $400 for the family for something we'd only use a couple of time. Not saying it's not good value, just saying I don't want to spend it this time. So the two day ticket to Aquatica would be $300 for the four of us...better. The $19 tickets are based on a single day, so if you pick a day that's cold, you picked a day that's cold, right? No exchange. Gina, will watch later this month for the Black Friday, thanks. This is going to sound perverse I know, but I want just enough and no more to keep us busy this time--with the full Flex pass, we still felt compelled to *do stuff* to get our money's worth. This time I'd like a few days of nothing but the pool at the house.

Mike I can't see anything like that...the only water-park-only ticket/pass I can see for the Disney parks is $53 pp per day. Can you direct me?

These are available, but elusive. You need to know about them & call guest services for the waterpark only ap. I have never seen online in the ticketing option, but they do exist.

yes you have to call, they arent advertised online. But dont buy it over the phone. You can buy them at the ticket window upon arrival.

Water park hopper annual pass. We had no trouble buying these at the parks. Best value around n my opinion! :)

Also, I'm a little confused about what you want. First you said you want 2 days for under $100 per person, but the $96 Aquatica annual pass is too much? Disney works out a bit cheaper since they have discounted child passes.

I'm sorry I said "under $100", as that's misleading. "Significantly under $100" was what was really in my head!

Thanks for the link, the Disney water parks might be fun to try.

The $19 tickets are only available through early January. The OP said she is not going until March.
Yes. That's why I made sure to include the words "starting at". The OP is consciously choosing not to pay that price in case it's cold the day/s they pick. There are two different $19 offers.

It's on the same page I linked earlier: "Annual Passes starting at $8/month". Eight dollars times twelve months is $96. The "starting at" qualification is for Aquatica-only APs. Combo parks cost more.

Even $74 for two days is significantly under $100.

I only see one $19 offer, and that ends in January :confused3.

The other advance-purchase ticket deal starts is $37.00 pp and is not date specific. It can be used any day within one year of purchase.

"Aquatica Orlando Any Day Ticket

Enjoy one visit to Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark™ Orlando any time within one year of purchase. Prices reflect savings based on single-day, single-park general admission tickets for each park included, combined with advance purchase discount".

Right. Again, I typed "starts at". That means not all the purchase options are $19, just that this is the lowest rate. Not sure how to make it any clearer.
