I would like a nice looking tink costume for DD for Halloween, I just dont want to spend a lot of $$. I like the one in the Disney Store, but holy cow!! I think it was $45 for the dress, then the wings were more, the wand, just insane! I know that as Halloween gets closer the prices will drop but I have had times where I would go there and DD's size would not be available.

Anyone have any ideas? I have looked at 2 consignment shops and nothing. Looking on ebay now.

If you have a Goodwill or similar "Thrift Shop" in your area I would try there.
I just got a Disney Store brand Tinkerbell Halloween costume for one of my DD's the day before yesterday, for $2 at Goodwill. It still had the plastic tag holders on it, so I assume it was never worn (it doesn't look like it). It was a 6, she wears a 7/8 so I was a little iffy about her getting in it, :confused3but for $2 I couldn't pass it up. It ended up fitting fine. The bodice is a stretchy satin like material (spandex?), so it had plenty of give.
I love those stores you never know what you may find. Now I have to find a Peter Pan outfit for DS. :thumbsup2
Good luck! I hope you find one CHEAP!

DD8 was Tink last year and we found her costume at Sam's Club for $18 or so. It's cute but I couldn't tell you how similar it was to the DS version. I know it was sparkly & had wings attached and came w/a flower maybe?

Try Walmart or Target when they put out their Halloween costumes. DD was Tinkerbell a couple of years ago and that is where we got her costume. I refuse to pay a lot for Halloween costumes.

I second walmart or Target options! They are nice costumes and I think Toys R Us also carries a few costumes as well. Oh and Tjmax or Marshalls stores too! Check your local Craigslist too. If you are the creative type you could always try to make one :) Works better with the younger kids though...they are not as picky about perfection. Goodwill is another option. Good luck!

There is one at Costco right now for around $22. It's cute and includes the wand and slipper shoe covers.

I just saw some Disney costumes in an Avon book yesterday. They were all $19 and they had Tink. Don't know if it came with shoe covers or a wand.

I got the one from Costco at Halloween last year - right around $20. Very cute with the wings and slippers (we don't wear the slippers outside - they are not that durable)

What size do you need? I may be able to share some pixie dust and send you one if it's the right size--but you'll need to buy the wings--DD got one for Christmas, and I nearly fainted at the price but she wanted one, only problem is that it was too small and I couldn't return it to the costume store where I bought it, so it's yours if you want it--just pm me if you want it and what size you need--I'll go get it out of GC's bedroom so I'll have it out and ready.princess:

We've had a hard time finding any around our way too. Our Disney Store closed and the prices online are too high IMO for Tink. I can sorta see it for the other Princesses but not Tink for some reason. :confused3

We checked Target and Walmart and Kmart but they mostly have Barbie Costumes. Walmart also had a bunch of Sleeping Beauty but no hooks for others. Not sure why they seem to be so hard to find around this way. And of course, she has been watching TinkerBell and Cinderella (another impossible to find dress and those ones go super high on Ebay) all the time lately! princess:

DOllar tree had green wings last year (shop early!)

Tulle is VERY cheap (1.99 a yard?) at Walmart or Joanne's.

Gather it, put it on an elastic band over a nude leotard, and Voila! Cheap Tink!

My 7 year old wants to be Tink this year too....I haven't even looked at the costume prices yet. Ugghhh.

I just saw where some people posted they had some above.....if the OP gets a Tink costume and the other posters still have one available in a 6/7 please let me know....I have 4 costumes to buy this year (which is better than the 5 I had to purchase last year LOL).....hey, next year I only have to buy 3....whoohooow!!!! LOL

I honestly just saw one at Dollar General Store last week. I think is was $12 and it was authentic Tink. It wasn't as nice as the Disney Store ones, but I would have bought it if I had a young daughter. I don't know if you have near you, but if so, it is worth checking out.
