My friends bought tickets to go to disneyland with us next month through cheap tickets. Now they can't go. Is there anything she can do so that she could sell them?

Have them contact Cheap Tickets and see what their options are.

It's against the rules to sell/buy through DISboards. Your posting might be deleted.
My understanding is Disney Tickets are Non-Transferable and are not to be re-sold.
If this is the case, they will have to hold on to the tickets until they can go at a later date.

Just an FYI...Cheaptickets is a NIGHTMARE to work with. I won't go into specifics, just that the voucher they sent when they bought the tickets has to be redeemed by the person on the tickets and getting them to change the name or any information is like pulling teeth. It can be done, but I would ask to speak with a supervisor straight out of the hat and be prepared for a NO answer.

Hmm, now I'm worried about our tickets. We bought 6 tickets and then decided to take son's girlfriend so my husband went on and bought one more. His name is the person who has to pick them all up- but does that mean it will be his name on 2 of our tickets or can we put a different name on the ticket when he picks them up?

I don't think there's anything she can do. CheapTickets vouchers have the redeemer's name listed and that person must be present, with photo ID, to redeem the voucher. They also say that no refunds, credits, exchanges, or cancellations will be granted and they are non-transferable.

*Also Important: If the vouchers haven't changed since I purchased in November, they will expire on the 13th day of the new calendar year after purchase.

Thanks for the answers. Maybe they can find a time later in the year to go. Do you know if we have 2 vouchers - one for 6 tickets and one for 1 ticket, and my husband is listed as the redeemer on both, are we going to have 2 tickets with his name on it or will they let him put my son's name on one?

You can put whatever name you want on the tickets. But your husband has to be the one at the ticket window redeeming it with photo ID in hand.

A little weird why they are so restrictive - but perhaps to prevent theft since the vouchers are sent via email?

Yikes. I feel bad for your friend. Hopefully they can use them for a later trip. This is exactly why I always by the $20.00 insurance with GAT, especially when we get the tickets early. You just never know what kind of emergency may happen, and make it necessary to cancel a trip. It's happened to us before, so I'm especially conscious of it.
