Disney vacation is all booked and staying on site. Considering coming up a day early if I can find a clean hotel close by that is fairly inexpensive.

I've stayed at maingate super 8 for under $50 but it was kind of a creepy area even when staying with others. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you!

I think I would get a separate one night, room only Disney reservation onsite. Do one of the values. You might be able to find a promo for room only if you look hard.

I have stayed at a few places off-site for about $50/night and here is where I feel safe:
Clarion Inn LBV
Worldgate Resort (interior corridors)
Maingate Lakeside
Holiday Inn Maingate East (interior corridors)

HTH! :goodvibes

Unfortunately as of right now there are no on property resorts available in my price range (there were no value resorts available period) because it is a Saturday.

Thank you for the off site suggestions! If something on site opens up or I get some extra $$ I may book onsite but until then I will reserve a refundable off site hotel. It is only one night and I'll be checking in on site the very next day. I just want to feel safe as I will be a solo female that watches too many crime shows and I get creeped out easily lol

What is your date and budget? That might help direct you. I've stayed at many places all around and often do the pre-Disney night as well.

Last year I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express LBV as a young solo female traveller. Didn't have any problems except that I was right near the pool which was very loud at night. I booked through Hotwire and it was $66 a night from memory. When I checked in at 9am, they waived the resort free and let me into the room early which was really great. There is a free shuttle to the parks but I think it only came once or twice an hour.

Any of the three in the Marriott Village (Courtyard by Marriott, Springhill Suites (they have 1 bedrooms - or Fairfield Inn) on Vineland Avenue.

They have had some great rates as well. I would surely stay here, I've also done Downtown Disney hotels until their resort fees climbed, I like any of the Hilton or Marriotts just outside Downtown Disney. Go to Orbitz and plug in their current discount code and see what comes up as well.
