Cheap rates a deluxe resorts

Okay, I want to know: What is the cheapest rate anyone has ever gotten at a Deluxe resort in WDW?

Once,we had a room booked for the Caribbean Beach and already had paid our first night down on it.I thinking somewhere around 110.00 and I had called to double check on my room ressie and was told that a special came up on the computer for the Grand Floridian for the same price as I had for the Caribbean Beach.Thinking,that it was odd because it was the end of June/first week of July and I knew that was a very busy time,so I asked if they were sure because I didn't want to change it and then be told it was the wrong price and again I was told that this happens sometimes,but not very often.So,of course I took it and we got LV for the price of the Caribbean Beach.I was really happy when I got the new conf. in the mail with everything just the way and the amount I was told.Needless to say,that was our first monorail resort stay and since then,we only stay at a monorail resort (now we must because of getting back to the room quickly because of health reasons)and we spend most of our time at the MK anyway.Would I stay at one of the other Disney resorts and not on monorail?In a heart beat,but,if I can get a discount (code,AP's etc) and stay on the monorail,then I go for.

The lowest I have ever heard was WL/AKL for between $109 and $129ish per night plus tax.

I got the Poly for this May 19 thru May 28 for $216.00 a night with a postcard rate. We stayed at the Poly last May and just loved it I think it would be really hard to go from staying at a monorail resort to something else, it's just so convinient especially with two small children.

I got a garden view room at the Poly for Christmas week of 2003 for $189/night with tax. This was an AP discount rate. I thought that was a great deal for the Poly at any time of the year let alone Christmas.

My best is: waterview at BWI in value season for $235
Second best: standard view booked but upgraded to partial waterview also at BWI in peak season $245

I know you didn't ask but my worst was at the Poly in value season booking thru AAA before I knew about the DIS board.... RACK RATE!

$144.00 per night AP rate. I called back to add a night and went from standard view to pool view and now it's $166.00 gotta love the AP rates.

Right now I'm at $258 GV Poly in sept with AAA discount. Hoping for a better public code, but if not, I'm staying there anyway!

Few years back, my daughter and I had a reservation at Port Orleans Fr Quarter and were bumped because of rennovation. They let us choose the resort. We chose Boardwalk Inn and got the room for $104!!!! Similar thing happened when we booked Poly. Got a phone call the night before we were to leave for WDW and got bumped to the Grand Floridian at the Poly AP rate. but can't remember how much it was, but remember it was a great deal!

We got Poly lagoon view for $65.00 per nite. Of course that was our first trip in Jan. 81. Also the only park that existed was M.K. We are staying Contemp.Tower in may for $280 per nite.

$109 AP rate for AKL in December 2003. Rate was booked one day before check-in (we moved to AKL from a non-Disney hotel). I'd asked for a savannah-view room, but none was available when I reserved, so I booked standard view, just happy to get the AP rate on such short notice. At check-in, we were given a free upgrade to savannah view. I have no clue how this happened, but that was just one of many magical moments on that vacation.
