cheap place to park at jfk airport

I can't help you with that one. I prefer to pay for onsite parking because of the AirTrain and the secure, well-lit parking lot (we fly out early & come home late).

We've used Avistar Parking many times in the past. It's been a couple of years so I'm not sure what their current rates are but I remember they used to have coupons on their site and I think AAA discounts so maybe check them out.

I tend to agree with the previous poster. We fly JetBlue, we leave the first flight and come home late. We park in the JetBlue lot (right by terminal 5) it's expensive, but it's safe, the car is safe and it's convenient. Let me know what you find.


Side note: We went November last year, and for some reason the car alarm tripped and the battery died. It was 11 at night, freezing (w/ 2 kids) and no idea what to do. The security people were there within 5 mins and jumped our car for free. So, another reason this is a good choice.

We will be flying Jetblue out of JFK (old bridge, nj here too!) on 10/29 and we are using Avistar. We found a coupon for $11.75 a day but avistar's website would not let us input the coupon. We called and the person on the phone told us not to do the pre-pay option and if we bring the coupon they will apply it there.

We use Avistar at both Newark and JFK and we love it. As soon as we pull up there is a bus there within minutes and we are at the airport within 10 minutes of dropping off our car. It really is great.
