For any of you Canadians out there trying to find a deal on Park Hopper tickets, check CAA. They can order PH tickets through Fun Sun (Tour operator) at a significant discount. If I were to order the 4 day PH tickets for our family (3 adults, 1 child) online through the Disney website (cheapest I had found until now) it would have cost us $781 US. Through CAA (Fun Sun) I paid $743 CAD! With the exchange rate, I saved $60 CAD! :cool1: I can think of a million things I could buy with that extra $60.

The only drawback is that you get a voucher for the tickets, which you have to take to the ticket booth to exchange for the real tickets when you get there. But we are arriving in the middle of the day on a Monday, so that shouldn't be a problem for us.

I don't know if this is just a Canadian thing or if maybe you Americans can get this deal through your local AAA office too?! :confused3

I was checking the BCAA website, and they indicate that they no longer sell DL park hoppers :confused3 ???

If that is the case, can I buy them off AMA in Alberta, since they're part of the CAA network?

On the AMA website, I just see the PH they sell (not really discounted, but you get free parking)... I don't see anything about fun tours :confused3

I don't think this is advertised on their website. When I first inquired, they gave me the usual price of tickets (slightly more than ordering from Disney direct online). In Calgary at least they have the park hoppers right there in the office that they can sell you. With these tickets you can go straight to the turnstyle, no waiting at the ticket booth to exchange your voucher for tickets. But then the agent and I started talking about other tours (Legoland and such) and she said, "Let me check Fun Sun". Fun Sun, as I understand it, is a tour operator that only travel agents can book through. They do a lot of tour packages in Canada and the US, as well as some all inclusive packages to Mexico if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, long story short, call the CAA travel agent in your city/province and ask them specifically if you can purchase Disneyland tickets through Fun Sun. I don't know if other travel agents use Fun Sun or not. I imagine they do. Another place to check is Flight Centre. Last time we went to WDW they actually had a bit better deal on Park Hoppers than CAA. I don't know if it was through Fun Sun or not. IMO, $60 is worth a little digging.

Good luck!;)

P.S. If all else fails, call the Calgary AMA office that I used (403)590-0009 and buy them over the phone. They can then probably mail you the voucher (or fax it or email it?) I dealt with Kendra, but I know all the girls there are aware of Fun Sun because they were talking about it amongst themselves while Kendra was trying to log on to the Fun Sun system.
