I haven't used them to book but to search fares I have. Normally the same fare is available if you book it directly through the airlines website.

I just booked with AirTran out of Buffalo.

I booked via hotwire.com, and the flight was really cheap.

About $600 for 4 all taxes in.

since we are near the border we book Southwest Depart April 13th!
$448 total for the 3 of us round trip!! Couldn't beat the price

I agree with the other posters, you are better off to book directly with the airline or hotwire etc.
