Cheap hotel help

Does anyone have nay info. on a cheap hotel in the Lake Buena Viasta are for Nov. 19 - Nov. 23 or 24? This is the few days before Thanksgiving.
I'm trying to plan a last minute quick trip and don't have much cash to spend on a hotel. The cheapest I've seen online was the Comfort Inn LBV on Expedia for $49, but I've seen a lot of bad reviews for this hotel. Anyone been there recently?

Not sure if u do priceline but u should be able to get Sheraton Safari for $52 + tax for the time u are staying. I think SS is pretty good. http://www.wvnh.net/sheraton/sheratonsafari.htm

If u dont like Priceline, u can get Radisson Resort Pkwy for $59 + tax thru' their website

I would think you won't be able to do much better than your $49 for Comfort Inn - do you have to stay in LBV?

you could get a wider selection by staying in Kissimmee.

No I don't have to stay in LBV. I just have stayed there our last several trips and like the area. Also the last time I stayed in Kissimmee (several years ago) there was so much road construction going on. Is it better now? Any hotels close to the Disney entrance that are clean and quiet and maybe have free breakfast?

Cypress Pointe gets good reviews - it is on hotelkingdom and I think expedia as well - not great ones - just good ones. this is a timeshares so it comes with a kitchen or kitchennett.

the Holiday Inn West (use to be Black Lake) is very close to Disney property. But it also has more than it share of bad reviews.

they are pretty good about finding last minute bargins with some place you can live with.

It is a great hotel! Also, if you book online at www.choicehotels.com and select "special internet rate", it is $5 per night less than expedia. We paid $44.10 before taxes and a little over $49 after taxes. My only recommendation is to get a room not facing the highway because you can hear highway traffic. Other than that, it is great! The resort is beautiful, the employees are nice, and the room is clean. Each room has a mini-refrigerator and the price cannot be beat! Plus, there is free transportation. I recommend it and loved it. It is a great value for the price!

I know you have already booked, but I am currently at Vacation Village through SkyAuction.com at 35$ a night. It is awesome and I love being in a condo instead of a hotel. It makes a huge difference for us to come to a "home" instead of a hotel.

For future vacations I really need to learn how to use the skyauction site. Do you have any tips? I've never used an auction to book a hotel/condo. A condo would have been great! Especially at thta rate. Is that for Thanksgiving week? How far ahead do you normally have to start looking through skyauction?

last minute is better for skyauction. Sometimes it does have holiday weeks - but don't count on it.

someone generally cancelled their RCI exchange at the last minute.

only bid in the last few minutes and use the autobid. put your minium bid in the first place and place your maxium bid in the autobid section.
