Looking for cheap flights to Orlando.

Need to fly out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada but willing to drive down to Buffalo, N.Y.
to take advantage of any cheap flights.

If you find any from Portland,Or to MCO PLEASE let me know!!!!!!

We are also looking for fares from Buffalo to Orlando. In my experience, it's substantially more expensive to fly out of Toronto even before adding on all those extra fees Pearson Airport charges. We still have quite awhile before our trip, so the flights are still pretty expensive, but I have noticed they have come down a bit since I started watching them. I've had really good luck with expedia.ca - that's where we booked last year for $210 pp Canadian tax incl. I've also been using sidestep.com - it's a program that will compare airlines and prices to other sites for you.

Keep in mind that orbitz.com sometimes has better deals, but will not allow you to book with a Canadian credit card.

Just a few ideas... good luck.

I don't know if Syracuse is too far for you to drive, but they seem to have cheap flights to Orlando. I saw an ad in our local paper (Albany) for $39 (american) one-way.

beglluvr--check the SWA site. I dont remember what cities they were having a special on but I do remember it was several east coast cities. $79 each way.

If you are in the Northeast (Nova Scotia to NYC) consider Pan Am flights into Sanford, FL, just a few miles North of Orlando.
They used to fly out of Gary, IN (near Chicago) and it was a treat to fly with them; lots of room and excellent service all at a bargain price. You can find them at www.flypanam.com

we just got buf to mco for 117$ r/t non stop for jan 14 - 21 wed travel but saturday was only 127$ but were not non stops ...down was connecting at bwi and coming back was direct through bwi

you have to hop on the SWA fare when you see it and can finalize your plans......the fares we got came out on tuesday and by today were up 70$ ( luckily the one we had put on HOLD last night since we were going to use a voucher, they were able to honour, even though in reality they did not have to ....since all fares are subject to change until purchased )....

we have found SWA to be very fair in this regard...and although we would rather book online ....they more than went the extra mile for us today even though the fare had increased....

just keep checking...and sign up for SWA email every tuesday but do not expect the good fares there to last much past thursday..

but it does not hurt to check their website every day.....also. check out their "Shortcut to Low fares" banner ...upper right of the web screen ......it helps you to see fares over a period of time and thus play around to get the best fare....

happy hunting.....SWA is great

hi swa is southwest airlines. however they do not fly out of canada at all. you could drive down to manchester nh and fly from there to orlando. i just checked for you i went with 3 people leaving in march (just as an example) and the cost would be $555 round trip. that is not bad. that is about what i pay to fly out of prov ri. log onto www.southwest.com then click on reservations and follow what is shown to you. you cannot get prices and such any further than 6 months in advance. their puters just don;t schedule that far in advance. you can also call 1800 4359792. good luck with everything. i know we cannot wait to go back in march 2004. let me know if i can help you any further. :wave2:

Anyone ever flown on Transmeridian?

I'm thinking that for about $150 RT, that the drive to Rockford (about 3 1/2 hours) would be the best value for us.

starting to check from Phl to MCO or BWI to MCO in April, maybe we need a new board for discount flights have found.

Blondie--check out the Transportation boards also. People posts airline discounts, rentals car discounts and reviews of services they have rec'd.

Oh, we have a transporation board??????

Duh................
