WOW- The three of us could go for £879.70, if Stephens counted as a child & £902.70 if adult. How easy is it to change & what happens if you have a delay & miss the connection?17th-31st August MAN~MCO £300pp

Sounds easy enough. Our last direct!!! took us to Gatwick & Canada & still in discussions with T Cook about it. Just have to work on Norman now, him & Stephen are at St James, hope Newcastle win as that will put him in a good mood.If you flew to Tampa intead of Orlando it would be even cheaper, and you would be coming home on same planes as me. We are using that route 6th-31st August
Man~Tampa 3 adults £871.70, 2 adults 1 child £851.70
Probably not worth the saving for you to fly into Tampa but we got Business class to Tampa cheaper than economy to MCO.
It is very easy to change, you go thru immigration, collect you luggage walk a few yards and drop off again. Then you find a board that tells you where to find your next flight. Go there and get on next flight, arrive in Florida, get your bags and out. Coming home is even easier, your bags go staright thru to Manchester so you just get off 1 plane find your next and get on that.
You really need 2+ hours to change going out and 1+ hour coming home.
If you are delayed from MAN to 1st airport they will get you on the next one. If its the last of the day you will be put in hotel and on 1st flight next day. Thankfully something we have never had to do, not one delay transatlantic yet, just watch now we will be delayed in May.![]()
Found another
18th August for 2 weeks Gatwick to Orlando £294pp
No idea what I did but had to delete my last post, prices changed when I checked.
I just found more for day later 12th~29th but then it said flights no longer available. Looks like everyones booking as I look or they have pulled the offers.
All you can do is keep trying Kayak.co.uk or Lastminute.com lets you search a week at a time to give you idea when cheap flights are, then search them dates on Kayak or travelsupermarket.co.uk
I wonder if they have just realized they were not charging enough, can't find any at all now. Will try again later.
Lots have been booking them on another forum. Now the offer has either ended or they are even harder to find. They have obviously all been booked up by fellow dissers reading your thread.![]()
Some great prices Wayne.![]()
Not looking good, I just had another quick look, about £453 was cheapest I saw.Norman said yes, just going to try to book now. hope there still there.
Yes, all gone for mon 17th - I can get wed to th & thurs to thurs but Newcastle schools officially go back the Thurs and Stephens school don't know if they are having teacher training days yet. I have to ring back later today be which time the flights may be gone or take the chance & let him miss school if for a day or two. I can get Wed/Thus to Mon 31/8 but it seems a bit short for a long journey.Lots have been booking them on another forum. Now the offer has either ended or they are even harder to find.

Wayne thank you so much for all the advice I will proberly have lots more questions when I calm down.
You bet I will.Thats great news. I was worried you had missed the offers. Make sure you say hello if you see me around, although we will be on cruise most of the time our dates overlap.
You bet I will.
Looked on Disney.co.uk and could stay at Pop Century for £520 or POFQ forAny ideas where you want to stay?
Looked on Disney.co.uk and could stay at Pop Century for £520 or POFQ for
£830. Which is pretty good. C Beach where we stayed last year is £1,030 since the new pool & although Stephen would love to try it out (finished week after our stay) I don't think it's worth double the price. We'd quite like to try LBV or I Drive if we could get a good price. Also we stayed 1 night at RPR last year & loved it, so need to work that in, proberly just the 1 night though as a bit expensive.
Homewood Suites looks great and I think i'd prefer the 1 of the other of the Marriotts. I think the Disney offer will take some beating, although we have to take Disney passes at £211 each to qualify. I thought I'd come up with a cunning plan of staying 1 week at Pop & 1 at C Beach for £775 but if you do this you don't qualify for the 4 days free. May ring & see if they will allow it as still staying 14 nights at Disney. With the Disney offer you can stay at Champions World Resort for £210 of Comfort Inn for £310.Well there loads of choise, give me a shout if you want to try find a better rate, although I doubt Pop or POFQ can be beaten at them rates.
Just seen Homewood suites on Idrive at £38/night 1 bed suite which is a good price, includes breakfast and managers reception 4 nights a week
