I know this has been asked a hundred times but just when I want to find the info I can't. I need some ideas of how we can eat cheap a few days in the parks. I have heard some of the tricks. By a double burger and a bun. Can you do this at all counter service places? Does Cosmic Rays still have the family dinners? Any other ideas please!

I believe mousesavers.com has info on how to save $$ on meals. Also, allearsnet has all the menus so you can plan.

Hope this helps a bit. good luck!!!

I'm not a big eater, so frequently DS9 and I will each get a kids' meal, plus share a side of fries. Much cheaper than getting the regular meals, which are usually way too big for me anyway.

Also, if I can manage a grocery stop on the way from the airport, I'll stock up on muffins, croissants, and juice boxes, so we can eat breakfast every morning in the hotel. If we're at a Disney resort we get refillable mugs and I can grab a cuppa tea on the way to the bus. I bring one of those mountain/hiking clips, so I can attach my mug to my fanny pack for park touring, then hit the beverage station again on my way back to the room for afternoon rest.
