We're going to DW in Oct. and are staying outside the park b/c inlaws have time share so room will be free. I am looking for cheaper tickets. I have heard undercovertourist.com is a good one to use. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I have heard that the walmart in orlando sells them....has anyone ever bought their tickets there? how much are they? thanks for the help!:thumbsup2

Most of the reputable ticket brokers are usually within a few dollars of each other. Undercovertourist is one of the biggies, I believe mapleleaftickets is another that comes up often. Most disney fan/info sites have a partnership with a broker, so check your favorite info site to see who they use. A solid rundown of other way to get discounted tickets can be found here -> http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwtixdiscounts.html

Just use common sense if you end up going with any 3rd party seller. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

The Kissimmee Walmart has a travel agency inside. They sell tickets there. The discount is comparable to the other ticket resellers. They don't sell every ticket type, so if you are looking for a specific number of days or features, you might be better off going thru the Mousesavers Newsletter link to UndercoverTourist.

It is very difficult to get "large" WDW discounts from reputable dealers as Disney has control over these. They don't allow their tix to be discounted greatly. I usually get tix at my local AAA office but this time I got them thru Undercover Tourist as they were a bit cheaper. They are all pretty comparable though. You just have to figure out which is more convenient for you.

I think if you find cheap Disney tickets, you probably ought to say hello to the Tooth Fairy, pet a unicorn, and grab a few coins from the leprechaun's pot o' gold while you're there! :rotfl:

Sadly, there is no such thing as truly discounted tickets. UCTourist is probably one of the best, imo, but it's still only going to save you $28 on a 7 day ticket. If you can afford it, I've heard a good way to save money on your vacation is to buy 10 day no-expiration tickets with the Water Parks n More option (for 10 admissions to the water parks or Disney Quest), then spread those 20 admissions to the theme parks and lesser parks over 3-4 family trips.

Other than that tip, I'm at a loss to offer any advice on real savings on tickets.

I was told you can get free tickets if you go and listen about owning a timeshare. It is only an hour or so, but it is free tickets. Also undercovertourist.com is the cheapest I have seen. I have been researching for a while now.

DO NOT waste your valuable vacation time sitting for a time share presentation. They will most certainly keep you more than the promised one hour and you will be subjected to a very high pressure sales pitch.

http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/

We have bought from Maple Leaf Tickets twice, via mail and have had no problems. We are going the middle of November and I bought my tickets before Disney's rates went up and we have physically had the tickets now for over a month. I guess the tooth fairy answers you back when you say hello sometimes.

The corporation that I work for gives us a membership to www.perkspot.com and on that website there are very generous Walt Disney World ticket discounts. When you click on Disney tickets, it actually takes you to www.ticketsatwork.com to purchase the tickets. Most of the discounts are over $30 per ticket, so check to see if maybe the company you work for also uses one of those websites to give their employees discounts.

Mapleleaf and UCTourist both offer discounts of only about $10-30 per ticket, and the $30 is off a $515 10 day non-exp loaded ticiket, so it's still only about a 6% discount. I guess they don't charge tax, so that's another 5% or so too.

I'm just saying, you won't find some magical place offering buy one get one, or even 25% off, or much of anything better than around 10% off (disc + tax savings). Wish there was, but I've never seen it.

As far as the time share places, totally not worth it. I've heard a lot of those places take you physically by van or bus, leaving your car parked at their offices. You cannot leave then until they take you back to your car. No way!
