Cheap Clean Hotel for 8-9 hours!

I waited a day too long to book & my airfare went up $100.. as a result I decided to fly in late the night before to 'save' the $100 - try explaining that logic to DH! It actually it works out since DS15 & I will now have 3 full days @ the parks!

We probably won't get to the hotel until around midnight & will get out of there around 8-9am to head over to POP & pick up our keys & parking pass... so I want CHEAP ($50 range), CLEAN, Free parking (rental car) & easy to find in the dark (trust me on this one..)!

Suggestions?

Check out Travel Zoo. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn for $50.00 a night. I found it on Travel Zoo. Looking at th current specials there are hotels available for the price you are looking for.


Also, have you checked out how much it would cost to add on a night at the Pop to your current reservation? It just might be worth it to pay a little bit of extra so you won't be having to run around so much.

I didn't want to pay for an extra day for the dining plan.. but after reading some of the tripadvisor reviews of the hotels in my 'price range' I decided to book a single room only night at POP.. we may have to switch rooms the next day but that's easier than moving to another hotel.

That is what I would have done. Hopefully you won't have to move to another room. If you haven't already have them note your other reservation number on your new reservation. I would also contact the hotel prior to arrival and at check in remind them that you will be extending your stay with another reservation number.

We only stayed offsite since we were staying at Royal Pacific Resort at Universal and it was a $250.00 savings to stay off site the night before our afternoon departure the following day.

for anyone interested, beleive it or not,t he motel 6 on 192 in kissimee is clean. (the one right across from Old Town) there is a McDonald's right in front, and a chinese restaurant. within walkind distance are many other fast food places and a ponderosa. not to mention the bars, shops and rides at Old town.
the pool is small, but clean. about $30 a night? not sure, because we used a coupon from the Room Saver coupon booklet you can pick up at the rest stops when you drive, and paid $20 one year and $25 the next.
this way we left home one day early, got to florida for a ittle sun time, and were able to check into disney bright and early the next day!
